What exactly do we have?
Ideas and scripts. A lot of things in writing, and a bit on film. We started about a month ago filming a bit meant to exemplify what could be social anachronism. It's a video without any audio other than a piano tune, showing a real life Gumby (from the show) going through horribly tough times. We've had more than a little bit of discussion about what song to use, choosing between classic Debussy pieces, like Clair de Lune and Arabesque No. 1, and less popular songs like Gymnopedie No. 1, by Erik Satie. We had a pretty clear consensus that Arabesque would be the best song to put in the song, as it shows the best contrast between good and bad tones that we can use to show the changes that Gumby undergoes over the course of the video. The only problem with the song choice, however, is it's length. We didn't have 5 minutes of video ideas, so it will be a challenge filling up the space with interesting and relevant material.
Blog update
- Finalized scripts and gotten all the material we need. That means all the right cameras, all the right editing software, and the people to help us. The only thing we're lacking right now is time. Everyone has to visit their university and cram for the rest of our senior year, so finding days to set aside for filming is far from easy. It is not uncommon for us to have dates set aside, planning to get something done, but this isn't a job we can do with someone missing. That being said, something almost always seems to go wrong. Sickness, family emergency, whatever.

Update on stuff
Tried recording some podcasts. Miles, Eric, and I have been working with computer software to make an original opening or "theme" song. The podcasts have been saved, but we will probably keep making more before we put any out there.

Update
Scripts done, planning done, etc. Why have we not finished anything, you may be thinking? It's really difficult to find a time when we are all available. Almost impossible. Homework and college consumes the majority of our lives now, and it doesn't help that Lukas is constantly on recruitment trips. We're going to work something in this weekend. That being said, we probably won't have Lukas, so me and Miles will start up on a theme song. That'd be neat.
